We offer you free walking tour complete with translating and reading the books were written by Mr. Tunenari Tokugawa and Professor Takashi Saito.
The Tokugawa Family stays still alive. That family dominated Japan for 265 years from 1603 to 1867 by the first through 15th of them. It was called the Edo period.
After the Edo period, Japan changed a modern country while some western countries gave Japan their new technology and a lot of know-how.
Mr. Tunenari Tokugawa is the 18th of the Tokugawa Family. He drew about the Edo period. The book has lots of interesting points.
For example, why Japan was able to change a modern country after the Edo period and how Japanese people had Japanese mind during the Edo period.
Why the Edo castle was nothing now.
Every country’s people believe in Japanese is Buddhist. But almost all Japanese people are not Buddhist and what kind of religion Japanese people believe in. Thus Zen is popular through the world. Zen is a practice of Buddhism. Why Japanese have accepted Buddhism.
Professor Takashi Saito drew Why the Japanese Emperor Family has been able to control Japan since 660 B.C.
And so on.
We describe this free walking tour.
Before we asked plenty of foreign visitors, they answered they were interested in Japanese history. So I caught this idea dealing with these books contents to this tour.
This free walking tour is organized by volunteer. Japanese government enacted a law a person needs a qualification to guide in Japan. We can not offer a paid tour as we do not have that qualification and we are not professional. However we were handed this necessary permission as volunteer by the Japan National Tourism Organization.
We guess you will be really interested in these contents and more enjoyable after you join this free walking tour.
We wish you come in the meeting point and join this tour. See you then!
